At Sober Living at the Stables, we are dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care to all of our residents. Our mission is to create a safe and supportive environment where our residents can heal, be restored and thrive.
We offer a wide range of services to meet the unique needs of each of our residents. Our full time LCDC will evaluate and create a plan for you to stay sober while our life coaches will support you in all areas of your life from business, relationships and more. We offer 12-step, Celebrate Recovery, Group Therapy, Individual Therapy, Family Time at the Stables, Bible Study, Daily Mandatory Drug & Alcohol Tests, Fitness Classes, Healthy Eating Classes and more.
Our staff is highly trained and experienced in providing top-quality care. We are committed to ongoing education and training to ensure that we are always up-to-date with the latest developments in the industry.
We provide soaps, conditioners, shampoos, sunscreen, q-tips, wash cloths, hand towels, bath and pool towels. You get to bring your tooth brush, toothpaste, and essentials needed. No unapproved medication or aerosol products allowed. Smoking is allowed outdoors and you agree to work with our LCDC and staff to create a plan to break the tobacco bondage. We 100% support nicotine patches or gum.
Storage for your clothing and shoes is limited. You will get a place to hang clothes with 14 hangers and three drawers for personal items. You’re allowed to bring two weeks of clothes and 5 pairs of shoes. You must bring tennis shoes, sandles/flip-flops, closed-toe shoes for business attire and two other pairs of shoes. You must bring a week of business attire clothing and a week of comfortable clothing.
You get to bring your cell phone, laptop, ear phones and other accessories. We encourage zero time on Social Media consumption.
Only Service Pets and Emotional Support Animals are allowed. They must be crated when unsupervised. You get to clean up after pet and leave no sign of pet on the property.
There is enough parking for one vehicle per person. Handicap parking is available.
We provide coffee makers, coffee, powdered creamer and all types of sugars. You will have a mini fridge and freezer in your bedroom and two large fridges with pantry space in the kitchen area. You get to bring 5 days of food and drink. We aren’t responsible for your food and drink.
Vanessa Guerrero-Johnson was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She has a Degree in Biology and is a Licensed Attorney. She has a supportive husband and three children. Her Husband converted an old neighborhood Boarding Home for 18 Horses into a successful luxury short term rental. After two years of renting, Vanessa through divine intervention, repurposed the rental into Sober Living for Women. Vanessa is no stranger to the effects of what addiction can do to her loved ones. It’s been a calling for her to open her house to women struggling from addiction, trauma, depression and unworthiness. She believes learning your identity with a supportive community of women with shared values can launch you into the masterpiece you were created to be.
